A village (Ychuv) within an hour from the desert, or 12 minutes south of Jerusalem (Har Homa), 3 km distance from Herodion. In order to come to Tekoa, after arriving to Jerusalem take the route to Hevron(derkh Hevron) up the road to Har Homa (homat Shmuel) to the left. Go down on the road. At the first roundabout before entering the district, take the road to the left, direction Herodion and Tekoa. Go ahead always to the right, after exceeding Herodion and the panel for Tekoa, turn left and climb till Yichuv.
When entering the village, at the first roundabout go through the 3rd way out, street Amos, exceed the junction through the right of the street Adirim and your left, and you’ll see a round wooden house. Park your car and go on the stone walk from the left. Two paths open in front of you; take the one from the left. Go through the panel.

It is also possible to arrive to Tekoa, taking the road of Efrat, when coming from Ella valey, passing through Kfar Etsion. After exceeding the entering in Efrat go on the same direction for about 7 or 8 km until you arrive at Carrefour. Turn left, descend with the road and lower you’ll find a road to the right that goes up close to Yichuv Tekoa.
